I'll second that. I do enjoy the mid-90's to 2002 Outer Limits and there was some amazingly written stories, in fact I plan a rewatch sometime. Buy yeah the original Outer Limits were in a class of their own. I hadn't thought of the original as noir like, but now that you mention it you're right. It's like bleak, b&w noirish, no hope sci fi that made the original series so great. That and the opening title sequence! I have the original Outer Limits on DVD and need to rewatch that too.


Oh, I like your idea for a reboot of the original Outer Limits.
Some of the folks that were paranoid about the malignant influence of TV on our youth, claimed that the show was hypnotizing them with its intro. It's partially true in the sense that it really WAS worth watching, unlike an awful lot of TV shows, so it was hard to turn away.
