This is a list of my favourite 150 movies (at least for this week 
) I'm not saying these are the best movies of all time in terms of box office success, or critical acclaim, or awards, or Rotten Tomatoes scores, or any objective measure - they are simply the movies which have given me, personally, the most enjoyment. Despite giving the list much thought, I probably forgot some and will mentally kick myself later!
I don't plan on debating with anyone their worth. My aim is that the list might encourage you to watch some of these movies again, or watch one or two that you haven't seen yet.
I tend to like movies which explore the extraordinary: either an extraordinary person in an ordinary situation, or an ordinary person in an extraordinary situation, and often a little of both. Thus I tend to favor the genres of sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and occasionally action, drama and comedy.
I'll post 25 titles at a time.
