10. Pitch Black
9. Hollow Man
8. Patriot
7. Unbreakable
6. X-Men
5. Frequency
4. Cast Away
3. Traffic

Ok, I immediately thought of the first 5, but after that I actually had to think about movies I saw last year, which is not a good thing.

I believe Memento is a 2001 film (released in the 2001), and Man on the Moon is from 1999. Not sure about Galaxy Quest though (its year)

here's my top ten list from 2000 --

10 -- Finding Forrester --
9 -- Meet the Parents --
8 -- The Family Man --
7 -- Chocolat
6 -- High Fidelity --
5 -- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon --
4 -- Cast Away --
3 -- Traffic --
2 -- Almost Famous --
1 -- Unbreakable --

I loved Unbreakable!

Hey Mr. Guy!

Man on the Moon wasn't released until the same month as Gladiator over in the UK and Ireland. And I saw Memento in October of last year. That film didn't arrive on American Shores until March 2001.

I don't go by American release ok?

And by the way, Chocolat sucked. . . a lot.

Chocolat SUCKED! Props to valbowski!

The ending just went ON & ON!

big -- I don't mind, I didn't know, you don't have to get upset..

Chocolat was a good film with good acting, but 2000 wasn't exactly an amazing year in cinema, so what would you expect..

I didn't much like Chocolat myself, but I'm with Guy that we each get an opinion. I get mine, he gets his. Try some Lithium!
Love to all,
Jozie

(p.s. -- what does "props" mean, anyway?)

Well you guys are SO GOOD. I can barely remember what I saw before last week! But Guy is right that Almost Famous was a good one. But I hated Chocolat. The stars were cute but the story was bor-ING!

Saw 13 monkeys on the latenite. Holds up -- I've stopped hating Bruce Willis now that he doesn't die so hard. (shades of the Rocky-mon)

But there are no good movies right now. Will A-I be good, do you think? They are promoing it so hard that it may be a stinker. It's Spielberg, though, so I have have hope.

Love to all,
Jozie
