Well, the original was such a hit! And it was such a beloved film for an entire generation that most will never forget (kind of like Ol' Yeller!)
It would be really cool if they used this movie as Amanda Bynes' big comeback film!
But geez - it doesn't even look like it will have cameos by the original characters like mega-star Frankie Muniz and some guy named Paul Giamatti.
