War of the Gargantuas (1966)

Nothing says "incongruously random" like Russ Tamblyn ("Riff" from West Side Story) starring in a Japanese giant monster movie that is a sequel to a Japanese giant Frankenstein movie!

Movie turned out mostly okay, imo, but Kristen is great in it. I’d recommend Clouds of Sils Maria more than Personal Shopper, Stewart’s other collaboration with Olivier Assayas in which she’s also really, really good.

Anyways, I’m about to put this on:

The Handmaiden is a phenomenal film. Hope you enjoy!

That elusive hide-and-seek cow is at it again
Just took off work to get away from a rough week. Looks like Phantom Thread starts in 30. Dunno about everyone else, but a good 1-2 hour screening in a large theater has always shut out the noise of the outside world.

I'm just jazzed it made it to this town, TBH.

Woah. Electric recliner seats?? And there's space for a twin mattress between me and the row in front of me. Etc is happening to this town!?

Planning on watching 'Dunkirk'. A lot of mixed opinions on this movie,
