Well if ended after the second time, thankfully. But still, I find this movie to be an emptier and overlong version of the first with some catchy musical numbers inserted as filler. Otherwise, it's very charming, well-acted and directed, and finely entertaining. That ending ten minutes had fantastic dialogue and progression, despite the fact we don't get
OH MY GOD I cannot deal with the ****ing sepia stills in the 50's A Star is Born. And everyone knows that extended does NOT equate to "better," and it's about time these streaming services stopped pretending it does. Does anyone have a link to the 150 min. version instead of the 175 min. version?
I would LOVE to have that version too. I recently watched the extended version with the still photos and it does nothing for the film. It must be exist somewhere in the world.
..There's about 1000 versions of it on another website, but none of them seem to have titles.
I don't need subtitles for A Star Is Born (1954). I want it without the photo stills and with a 154 minute run time. I've seen the restored version with still photos added in at 176 minutes. If you have a link for that PM me, PM Keyser too

Yeah, sorry I was talking about The First Echelon. I meant to quote SE's post. Not sure what happened there.
Hope you find what you're looking for on ASIB.
Can you add in your own English subtitles using an .srt file. I found the English subs for The First Echelon online.
Yeah I found that, but didn't know how to use them and didn't fancy downloading them either.
It was actually fine in the end without subtitles. It was one of those where you could get the gist of it, and where that was enough.
Thanks very much anyway.

Glad you can still watch the film in it's original Russian and have that workout. I once watched a film in German when I couldn't find subs and I don't speak a lick of German, I still was able to get the film and appreciate it.

I just watched an Indian one (although I had subtitles for the first half so knew basically what was going on!!!!).
SovietMoviesOnline actually isn't a pirated site, but assuming you were under the impression it was a pirated link when posting it, then yes, please keep it to DMs going forward.
Sent you a perfectly safe link from my favorite non-American social media site. Of course, allow me to express a little happiness in another use interested in Agnes Varda.
