The Wicker Man (1973)

I like that 2016 remake with radiohead soundtrack

my husband likes it. But I hated it. It came as a terrible shock to me - I generally watch the kind of films where everything comes right in the end - I mean when he was in that wicker man I expected the police to arrive and save him. or better still, I thought it might start to rain and put out the fire and make all those people look stupid. I couldn't believe it that he actually died. it was as if James Bond had actually got eaten by those sharks.

I haven t seen the original, i have to check it out to see if it s dated for my taste
