What is your favorite Horror comedy?

Because it's a musical? Because it's crap? I don't know, it could be a number of things.
lol, it was awesome!

I remember seeing it at the cinemas, not knowing it was a musical. The gasps when Johnny Depp was singing on the boat, I don't think anyone was expecting that. Strange that it wasn't advertised as a musical, they made it look like a straight forward horror in a previews.

An American Werewolf in London
Shaun of the Dead
Evil Dead II / Army of Darkness
They Live
Beetlejuice
From Dusk Till Dawn

Will have to add Tucker and Dale vs. Evil to my watch-list...

Id have to say Young Frankenstein and Jack Brooks, Monster Slayer. The part where Robert Englund turned into a monster cracked me up.

I can't decide out of these three!

This is tough, but if I had to choose it would be:

1. Vampire's Kiss
2. Army of Darkness
3. Shaun of the Dead
4. Dead Alive

The Quiet Family: It's a Korean film about a family who owns a hunting lodge in a remote area, whose customers always happen to end up dying and they try to hide the dead bodies because they don't want bad publicity for their lodge!

Zombieland: Great film that contains a mixture of gore and laughs and some really good young actors like Jesse Eisenbergh and Emma Stone.

Although I often find this sub-genre a contradiction in terms; my many favourites are as follows...

An American Werewolf In London
The Return Of The Living Dead
Innocent Blood
Night Of The Creeps
Re-Animator, Bride Of Re-Animator, Beyond Re-Animator
From Beyond (very black in places)
The Howling (lots of in-jokes - very black)
Alligator (brilliant John Sayles script)
Piranha (1978) (same as above plus Dick Miller!)
Night Of The Comet
The Day Of The Beast aka El Dia De La Bestia
Frankenhooker
Basket Case
Eating Raoul
TerrorVision
Arachnophobia
Tremors
Ginger Snaps
Dead Heat
Braindead aka Dead Alive
The Frighteners
Tucker And Dale Vs. Evil
Street Trash
The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn, Army Of Darkness
Critters
Ghostbusters
The Stuff (and pretty much all of Larry Cohen's horror output)
Blue Sunshine
Invasion Of The Bee Girls
Sexykiller
The Little Shop Of Horrors (1960)
A Bucket Of Blood
Killer Clowns From Outer Space
Vampire's Kiss
Dracula A.D. 1972 (Unintentional)
The Manitou (Unintentional)
Shaun Of The Dead
Fido
Count Yorga, Vampire, The Return Of Count Yorga
Theatre Of Blood
Blood Diner
The Hand (1981) (Unintentional)
Burial Ground aka The Nights Of Terror (Unintentional)
Zombie Creeping Flesh aka Hell Of The Living Dead (Unintentional)
The Case Of The Bloody Iris (Unintentional)
Rats: Night Of Terror (Unintentional)
Flight Of The Living Dead
Young Frankenstein
Whatever Happened To Aunt Alice? (very black)
Horror Hospital
The League Of Gentlemen (TV series)

Re-Animator and Shaun of the Death would be my top two favorites out of the horror comedies that I have watched. Interestingly, none of these movies managed to make into my top 126 favorites list.

The Quiet Family: It's a Korean film about a family who owns a hunting lodge in a remote area, whose customers always happen to end up dying and they try to hide the dead bodies because they don't want bad publicity for their lodge!
I liked this one, but the Takashi Miike adaptation is much funnier in my opinion. Maybe because it's partly a musical.

Theatre of blood. Vincent Price is at his most hammy. Brilliant performances all round by a fine British cast. Loved it.
