Donald Trump for President?

To clarify, the man used charity money to buy a portrait of himself for himself! Unbelievable that an obvious fake like Trump can ascend in this "age of information".

‘The View’ Clashes With Trump Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway

Donald Trump’s long-suffering campaign manager Kellyanne Conway may have been in a better mood this Wednesday morning than she was the last time she visited The View just over a month ago. But from the start, moderator Whoopi Goldberg was in no mood for her.

As the polls continue to tighten heading into Election Day, Conway took a swipe at Hillary Clinton by saying “so many people shouldn’t have been getting their inaugural ball gowns and popping their champagne corks prematurely.” She specifically highlighted the ABC News tracking poll that stands out from the pack with Trump taking the lead nationally. “It’s our favorite poll,” Conway said.

The poll talk was the first thing to set Goldberg off. “Didn’t you guys say the polls were rigged?” Distancing herself from her candidate, Conway smiled broadly as she replied, “Never me, I love the polls.”

“And you love the media now too, yes?” Goldberg asked. “You remember he said we were all crooked,” she added of Trump. As Conway continued to deny the facts, Goldberg asked her, “What have you been watching? He said the media is crooked, the polls are crooked, everything was crooked.” She wondered if everything will be “crooked” again if the polls start going against him again.

When Conway teased that Trump would come on The View after he wins the election, Goldberg shot back, “I don’t care if he ever comes back on this show,” adding, “He’s been very nasty about people I care about,” perhaps in reference to former co-host Rosie O’Donnell.

Trump child rape accuser calls off news conference over threats

Lisa Bloom, the attorney representing a woman who accused Trump of child rape, has called off the news conference on Wednesday over threats.

The accuser, who prefers to keep her identity to herself and goes by "Jane Doe," was supposed to make a public statement about the accusation on Wednesday afternoon.

However, according to her lawyer, the woman changed her mind in light of numerous threats.

"Jane Doe has received numerous threats today, as have all the Trump accusers that I have represented," Bloom told reporters.

"She is living in fear. She has decided that she is too afraid to show her face. She's been here all day ready to do it. But unfortunately she is in terrible fear," she added.

After Trump takes dig at reporter, #ImWithTur hashtag comes to her defense

Donald Trump on Wednesday called out NBC’s Katy Tur for allegedly being part of the biased media at a rally in Miami.

Addressing America’s integrity in journalism, Trump said reporters are among the most dishonest people he’s met.

According to Trump, reporters fail to capture the massive crowds at his rallies. “But if Hillary speaks for an audience of 30 people, the media will say the crowd is massive,” Trump said.

Trump went on to say the large crowd size at his rallies is worth reporting.

“We have massive crowd,” Trump said. “There’s something happening. They’re not reporting it. Katy you’re not reporting it, Katy. But there’s something happening, Katy.”

In response, the #ImWithTur hashtag immediately started trending in the U.S. on Twitter.

It’s not the first time Tur has been attacked by Trump. Last December Trump referred to Tur as a “third-rate reporter” when she tweeted that Trump “ends speech abruptly and leaves stage,” after he was interrupted by a Black Lives Matter protester.

Ya I didn't like the whole reporter attack, pretty reckless and unnecessary to single out just one lady who has been following the campaign. It would be easier for me to vote for Trump if he didn't get so easily hinged by such microscopic matters/criticisms. Also shouldn't he be working on tempermant this late into voting? There's still plenty of undecided voters, myself included.

Full disclosure in this thread there's about a 60% chance I'm writing in Rubio, 40% voting Trump.

I respect that. All sharpness aside, I dont know what more Trump could possibly do to make people not vote for him. I honestly had no idea he would be this bad this past 6 months, I thought he was gonna get refined.

I dont know what more Trump could possibly do to make people not vote for him.
I agree with this. I wasn't posting politics much during the primaries but I was much more anti-Trump then. Like I was hoping for a brokered election for awhile. I thought there were several times that something he said would be big enough to hurt him. When Macys dropped him, I thought he would drop out swiftly. When he said John McCain is not a war hero. When a republican in a debate said Bush didn't keep us safe during 9/11 and then wins the SC primary against Jeb! He's not at all your typical politician

Obama and Trump trade jabs on campaign trail in Florida as Election Day draws near

Donald Trump and President Obama held dueling rallies in Florida on Thursday, with the president seeking to rally young voters for Hillary Clinton and Trump trying to stoke concerns about Clinton’s practices as secretary of state.
In Miami, Obama labeled Trump “uniquely unqualified” and “temperamentally unfit” to be president. In Jacksonville, Trump claimed that Clinton is under “criminal investigation” for “pay-for-play corruption” by the FBI, though no such investigation has been announced.

Speaking at Florida International University, Obama lambasted Trump’s treatment of women, minorities and working-class Americans.

“What kind of message are we sending if that’s our voice?” asked Obama. After the crowd erupted in boos when Obama first mentioned Trump, the president remarked: “He can’t hear you boo, but he can hear you vote.”

Obama criticized Trump for vowing to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act at an event earlier this week. The president said Trump and his fellow Republicans “don’t even have a semblance of a plan” for an alternative.

Trump said the FBI “investigating how Hillary Clinton put the office of secretary of state up for sale in violation of federal law.” He added that “the FBI agents say their investigation is likely to yield an indictment.”

Trump appeared to be referencing the Clinton Foundation. But there is no criminal investigation over “pay-for-play” or talk of an indictment, as Trump claims. The FBI has renewed the investigation into whether any classified information passed through Clinton’s private email server as secretary of state.

katy tur is one of the best reporters out there and this hashtag made me so happy. the abuse she and other journalists have had to put up with from the trump campaign has been ridiculous. also can't recommend the twitters of sopan deb and daniel dale enough, the latter of whom writes an outline of every lie trump tells throughout the day. here's an example:

Things are going to have to get a lot nastier for me to be worried about the amount of verbal jabs journalists are taking. A little tit for tat if you ask me.

nastier than constant death threats? so like one of them has to actually murdered or something? katy tur had to be escorted from a trump rally by secret service because her life was being threatened, and a room full of thousands of people taunting a small pen of journalists with various threats and racist/anti-semitic epithets when they are just trying to do their jobs is more than a little troubling. in fact it's horrifying. freedom of the press is pretty important for a functioning democracy and is a pretty important aspect of the constitution and having a presidential candidate wage war on the media and even ban the washington post from his rallies is bad.

Trump made a death threat to Tur?

Agreed, but Hillary has banned reporters from events and semi-famously (among conservatives, at least: I'll wager her supporters mostly have never heard of it) literally roped off reporters to keep them physically distant from her.

i don't think hillary should be doing these things either, but i think we can agree that this is nowhere near the level of the vitriol trump throws at the media. the daily mail situation just sounds like she wanted to prioritize US publications, which seems fair, and it sounds like it was supposed to be temporary from the start. that rope thing looks bad but it doesn't strike me as that big of a deal if she just would rather interact with normal civilians instead of the journalists. as far as i know this isn't a regular thing at her events. doesn't trump keep journalists in a pen off to the side at his rallies? in addition to telling his supporters to never trust a thing the media says about him, which is one of the most dangerous lasting effects his campaign might have.

I'm not saying they're comparable in total, just that anyone particularly concerned with freedom of the press can't be happy with either candidate. Like so many other issues, this is one where Hillary would look bad next to anyone other than Trump. Which is pretty much the election in a nutshell.

Trump child rape accuser calls off news conference
But the emails!
So once Hillary is back under legitimate FBI Investigation, her camp contrives a bogus headline on Trump

This board has fallen apart

So, you'll pop in to express outrage about unsubstantiated allegations, but you can't be bothered to address the empirically documented ones?

I'd list all the demonstrably bogus claims and conspiracies Trump has floated, but at this point I think it's obvious any unanswerable contradiction is going to be met with crickets.
