The movie could start out with Padme' already pregnant with luke, and Leia is a toddler. Anakin could have a serious accident trying save Padme', and he needs a life support system. He then turns evil because of Padme's death and the loss of his children. Leia ends up in a royal family, and Luke ends up on Tatooine.

Actually he injures himself and creates the need for the Vader suit in a duel with Obi-Wan. It's gonna be cool.
