Stumbed across an Internet item yesterday that said Juliet Anderson died in her sleep in January at age 71. Don't know if she'd qualify as an "actress," although she was in more than 80 films of various lengths, more than some of today's biggest stars. But I think it's safe to say she always captured viewers' attention when she was on screen and was always exuberant in her performances. She got a later start than most of the stars in her field but even in her last years was still better looking than many younger women. Moreover, she never appeared to put on false fronts and was equally warm to a variety of people regardless of age, race, or sex.

Most in this forum likely won't even recognize her name, but I'm sure a few of us enjoyed her work almost as much as she seemed to and regret her loss. Rest in peace, Aunt Peg--there will never be another quite like you.
