Will win: Christoph Waltz
I can see why Waltz is a favorite, but I thought De Niro was great in Silver Linings, and that it was really refreshing to see him in something decent, considering his career in the last 15 years.

I really enjoyed De Niro, Arkin, and Jones however Hoffman and Waltz are working much harder in their roles. Mainly that's because they are given so much more to do, each really is a co-lead in their film. I loved Hoffman in The Master but he seems to have little chance to win. Great category this year.
