I am trying to find a alien invasion movie from I believe the 70's or 80's. I remember the aliens would detect motion with a bunch of small blue lasers. A bus full of students was abducted, and I remember a cop car being abducted as well. I believe the aliens were spider like in appearance. I can't remember the whole plot but it had an alien invasion(obviously) and I believe had a younger student taking an alien ship and piloting it. But I can't be sure. It is one of the first movies I remember watching as a small child and I would like to see it again. Thank you for your time.
