I've been going crazy trying to remember the name of a movie from the 1990s (I think). It takes place in a motel at night. several people are waiting. there's a crime and a supernatural element. I've seen it twice and thought it was underrated. I can't remember who was in it. I'm sure they were prominent actors but not the biggest stars. there's a surprise element at the end.I hope that helps!

Yes, I just figured it out and went to the site to update my question but I see someone got there before me. My memory was in error in thinking it was from the 1990s. I was trying to remember who was in it. The only name that clicked was Ray Liotta. It's weird when a movie makes an strong impression on you and you not only forgot the name but who was in it!
