whats the worst comic book hero to be made into a film

Tools

"Howard the Duck" wasn't bad -- it was bland and unoriginal.

The worst comic books movies?

- "Daredevil"
- "Fantastic Four"
- "Spawn"
- "Superman IV"
- "Batman and Robin"

daredevil was pretty terrible
...
the phantom sucked a lot too, but im not sure if that was a comic or not.

As a comic fan many of the movies strike a nerve with me. The worst is The Hulk though. I fell asleep four times trying to watch it. Geez it was so bad. And then there's X3. I could go on for pages and pages about it..

Stuporheroes Founder
Suuuuuuuperman! 3 and 4.

There's a lot of things in X3 that bothered me. I don't know if I'd say it's one of the worst made though.

Definitely Batman & Robin and Catwoman though.

In the Beginning...
This is a comprehensive list of comic book films that I've seen (that I can think of anyway), and my subsequent ratings. My rubric, when looking at them as 'comic book films', is not that complex: basically, how good -- or not good -- I felt about having watched each determines the score. I could have graded them based on my more stringent rubric for determining what I think constitutes good cinema -- but I don't think that would be fair to some of these films, which were enjoyable without really shooting too high.

I'm in movie heaven

Sorry this post is not associated with this topic, but I couldn't make a thread myself. Haven't got enough posts. But I got a question. It's for WW2 movielovers and people who see much movies.

I am looking for a WW2 movie. I saw it ones on the telly. It's about a young boy called Alex. At least I think. He is in a occupied area/country and he is surviving by hiding in destroyed buildings. When he wants to get food he goes to the other side of city. Like the Warsaw wall, the ghetto. There he meets a girl and a docter who treats him and he gets food. One day te boy ran into a german somewhere in a sewer canal. The german did not do anything, which makes clear that there where sentitive soldiers.

If this story sounds familure to anyone please leave a message with the name of the movie or tell me if you know more about the movie.

Thanks in advance.

the hulk was a huge disappointment.
all batman movies have also been terrible for decades

I'm not old, you're just 12.
I quite liked Howard the Duck, it was silly and fun and I have to laugh at the inarticulate duck costume. It's like they used their entire budget on the crab/shrimp/tentacle monster at the end (which is still a fairly impressive effect, really) and they had nothing left for the rest of the movie.

The worst:

Fantastic Four (roger corman version)
Punisher (Dolph Lundgren)
Captain America
Masters of the Universe - this whole movie blatantly rips off Jack Kirby's "New Gods" comic book series, and it has Courtney Cox.

not all Burton's Batman was good it had that dark look over the hero while Schumacher's version was horrible and Nolan was ok

anyway Ultraviolet was crappy Witchblade too

crazed out movie freak
The Hulk was absolutely horrible, but I could tolerate that above Superman Returns. What a boring piece of crap movie. I mean come on Superman on life support, what will they come up with next.
