I recall watching on TV in the 1970s or 1980s a movie or TV show where there was some sort of contest among writers to write a clever murder scene. There was a scene where someone had hidden a laser in someone's typewriter. When the victim sat down and began to type, the typing activated the laser and burned the user in the torso so that the victim died. The writers thought that this was a clever murder scene. Can anyone direct me to the movie or TV show where this scene occurs? Thanks for any help!
