What Is The Most Disturbing Film?

Tools

I think The Devils Rejects took a turn in a new direction. Showed perversions that werent featured in any movies before it. Gives you a real sense of the mad-man. Not just the hollywood type.

The Passion of Christ, good movie, but some of the scenes were to intense.

Vanilla Sky, just the whole thought of that type of world gives me shivers.

Deliverance, just because of the rape scene.

Most Disturbing Movie?

I would have to say its a trifecta between

1/ X the mand with X-ray eyes the final image of his hollowed out eye sockets spooked me for weeks later

2/ Hostel but then mostly cos it was crap anyways

3/Final Destination 2 (I haven't seen the first)

First time I saw that movie I was just. . .[cringe].

Edit - The Cell. I couldnt watch that the whole way through the first time I saw it. Took me nearly a year to get the courage to, but it wasn't as bad by then.

I changed my mind, it has to be Jacob's Ladder.

Relax, this won't hurt a bit...
Seeing Christian Bale's skeletal figure in The Machinist was pretty disturbing.

Do I have something inside my eye?
Hi this is my first reply to a forum, I just registered myself.

For me the most disturbing movie is the one I saw in the cinema more than 2 years a go, and 100 persons walked out of it, I mean everyone knew that it was going to be a non-easy movie, and everyone should have had in mind when they first entered the cinema, but still, the beginning is very strong and makes you turn around, but even though I really liked he movie, is very well accomplished and directed, the theme is interesting and the mise-in-shot is a great point of view.

The destroying face scene, the “rectum” club the phrases you hear ...“**** me with the hand”, its very disturbing visually and also what’s happening.

I bought the movie and when I watched it the other day, I had to make some noises and kind of turn around in the rape scene (with this you all must know what movie I’m talking about), and in that scene when a guy appears in the back while the rape, entering the tunnel, just makes you angry, and think, “why the **** he didn’t do something” but also think what would you have done? (for me call the police and make them enter the tunnel from both sides, so they catch “Tennia”)

So the movie is Irreversible, always a pleasure watching Bellucci as well.

I just watched Pi (1998) and I am not saying it is the most disturbing, but it does have it's disturbing moments...in an odd way.

I would have to say that the top three most disturbing movies that I have ever seen were: 1.Party Monster, which was jus plain wrong. 2.Monster, that should never have had money wasted on it. and 3. The Talented Mr.Ripley, which I didn't think was horrible, but was creepy. LOL

Wrong Turn, especially if one actually lives in an area like this.

I just watched 301/302 and I must say, it is quite disturbing. I don't want to go into detail, but if you're into S. Korean movies, it won't hurt to check it out.
