Best James Bond?

Sean Connery

Craig, Brosnan and Connery all were great in their portrails of Bond, I think Pierce was really the only one of those three who really wanted to be Bond and it shows in all of his movies. Sean I think was more in it for the money, fame, etc... and I haven't made up my mind about Daniel yet, but he did add a very interesting twist to the character, so the jury is still out on him. So my rankings are as such:

Pierce Brosnan

Sean Connery

Daniel Craig

Roger Moore

Timothy Dalton

George Lazenby

Mick Jagger

Im really not a big fan of James Bond films. I really had a dislike for Casino Royale.

I would say Golden Eye because in my opinion its pure entertainment plus the N64 game swayed my vote 99%



Probably the the best console multiplayer game ever made. Defined a genre.

Dude you really must like George Lazenby, I am not dissin cause I am a huge bond fan but why just George or are you going through each actor who played bond?

LoL.. actually the weekly theme is weddings.. & this is the only bond movie which has Bond getting married..

Outside of the death by snowblower, that film was useless HI I'M JAMES BOND please

But I actually like it... I see it a B-grade Bond film...

& it's not the worst according to me..

Can't recall one right now, but definitely one with Moore...
I even liked Dalton over Moore..

I did too, he had more of an attitude over Roger's "mehhh I'm Bond I guess"

Plus A-ha did the theme song for The Living Daylights

When I was growing up, I used to love Roger Moore. However, after going back and watching most of the Bond movies again, I would definitely have to say Connery. He was just so good in that role!!

I hate when people say Daniel Craig is the best Bond... people say Fleming described Bond as muscular in his books & Daniel Craig fits the description..

Anyway I like Connery as well, he was the best Bond.. Maybe Bond wasn't a ladies man like the movies made him. But he surely made it unique..

As for Roger Moore, he tried pushing it by becoming too much of a Ladies Man..
I think I never hated Moore's Bond movies.. It's just that I hated Moore as Bond..

I think the Bond movie which tries to pay tribute to Blaxploitation was the one I didn't enjoy much.. can't recall the name.. Live & Let Die maybe.

I thought it was Octopussy, if I remember correctly.

Also you can't really say Craig is the best Bond because he's probably not even done yet, it's like hearing a band's first album and saying they're clearly amazing/crap

Octopussy was not the one.. Octopussy was another weak Bond film.. But the one I am talking about is based in America.

Oh **** you're right it was Live And Let Die, I remember the Harlem gang now...I enjoyed the parts with them and Baron Samedi. Either way Roger Moore was in the series too long, maybe that's why Timothy Dalton was so cool

If so, why is he still underappreciated by others... I have only seen hate for the guy..
Also wasn't he offered the role even before Roger Moore.. I have no idea whether he was rejected or he turned it down..

People think they hate Dalton for the same reason they think they like Moore, society says so, plus that stupid argument "he was in the most he was clearly the best"

Dalton was approached to do For Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, and For Your Eyes Only. Sounds like no one really liked Moore haha

Except for FilmExpert.. he said Roger Moore was his fave Bond.

BTW have you seen Final Programme?? I wish they would have made more Jerry Cornelius films.
I have not read any of the books though...

One of these days I would love to check out The Avengers TV show.. there are just too many episodes to see.. Damn!!
