For some reason, the OP specified American sports hero movies. Senna is American in the larger sense of the Americas, but it's harder to squeeze Invictus into the rubric.
Unless of course, it's American sports hero movies, as in sports hero movies made by Americans, in which case Invictus is perfect.....Just talking to myself.
