hey you be quiet. He was a nice country lad from Australia. I think he's still kicking around down here.
your favorite james bond actor of all time?
Who cares:
6 Georges Lazenby...though to be fair it's not the actors fault it's the wimpy screenplay than made Lazenby's Bond forgettable.

(Loses a fight, looks at camera) "This would never happen to that other guy..."
Beyond that I thought he made a decent Bond, unfortunately that line just didn't work for me.

I think that the answer to this question for everyone is based on which actor's Bond movie did they saw first.
For me, it was Pierce Brosnan and for me he was always the original Bond.

Sean Connery with Timothy Dalton coming in as a really good second. Short lived as Dalton was, he was the best "modern" Bond I've seen. I thought Moore was good when I was a kid. The new guy, Daniel Craig, I have no idea about.

Sean Connery. I can't watch Bond films that aren't Connery anymore, even Goldeneye, The Spy Who Loved Me or Casino Royale which i used to really like.

Craig overall, closely followed by Connery, Moore and Brosnan. Though I'd say the single best performance was by Pierce in GoldenEye.

Craig. Really liked his work in Casino Royale. And on the numerous "Which James Bond are You?" Quizzes around the internet, I got Daniel Craig the most.
To digress into the stock types in James Bond I liked the henchmen of Connery's era, particularly Red Grant from From Russia with Love. Favorite Bond Villain? Alec Trevelyan/006.

My first Bond was Moore, but my favorite is still probably Connery, if only for practically inventing Bond as a movie character.
Brosnan is a VERY close second -- practically born for the role. Slicker than snot on a doorknob, as my grandpa used to say, but still a badass when he needed to be. "Goldeneye" is my overall favorite Bond movie. (Besides, he's Irish. Not really an accomplishment on his part, but still a point in his favor.)
Moore owned the role for humor -- always a major element for me. (Funny, not two hours ago I was reminiscing to my wife about his slide down the banister in "Ocotpussy" . . . ). Maybe a little overboard on the humor side at times, but I'll just blame the scripts.
Dalton was probably the most badass of the lot -- the perfect Bond to go off the reservation in "Licence to Kill". I would have loved to have seen his aborted third outing!
Lazenby was just ridiculous -- yes, his unfortunate self-referential line early in the movie didn't do him any favors, but then his other early scene, killing a guy and then commenting on the caviar, just seemed too forced. Wisely relegated to a footnote in Bond history. (Sorry, Dani. Just for the record, I have no inherent problem with Australian country lads -- some of my best friends are, I mean, I've known a gazillion cockatiels, lots of bearded dragons, a fair number of kangaroos, and, well, the less said about sugar gliders, the better, but still . . . )
At one time, there was a resolution in the security council of my mind to recognize Craig's right to exist as Bond, but it never got the two-thirds majority to pass. The most I can say for him is he makes Lazenby look good -- er, less bad. Brosnan was quite simply the last Bond.

Thanks. You know, I really do like cockatiels and bearded dragons!
The Sean is the only Bond for me.
Sean Connery is James Bond. He might be misogynistic but damn was he likable in every other way.

Sean Connery, probably, but since Craig was my first Bond, his are the films I most closely associate with the character.
Likely an unpopular opinion: Brosnan is bland. Like the picture that comes with the frame bland.
Moore was always too creepy for me.

My favourite is Moore and Connery.
Craig is Bond of our times. Utturly different from the rest, but has that special something. His Bond is much more sombre.

Haters gonna hate but Moore is my favourite, although a more campy Bond who looked like he couldn't beat up his mother. Connery close behind, Brosnan and Lazenby were decent. I hate Craig as Bond.

You are vile.
Roger Moore is my favourite, his light style and all the humour appeals to me. Sean Connery is good too, especially in Dr No. i liked Timothy Dalton in the Living daylights very much, but Lucense to Kill disappointed me - too violent and not enough humour. Pierce Brosnan was quite good, I particularly like him in tomorrow Never Dies with Michelle Yeoh.

Do you mean "Favorite actor to play Bond" or "Favorite Bond"?
