Nothing special. I was expecting a lot more.
What's up with all the praise for the screenplay? The plot was pointless, like a J.D Salinger novel -- Though Salinger is the master of hilarious, frustated description.
The film stock was pretty, the art direction seemed nice... but it seemed a lost cause. A director like Neil Labute should have been called up for this job. Maybe he would have had the balls to tell the producers that the script really missed its mark.
In a really weak year for movies, this film doesn't even make my top ten.
Avoid this and check out "Roger Dodger", a beautifully written and acted film.
