Movie about a recruit

Hello.

i am looking for a movie it"s this way. A recruit goes to his trainning and falls in a love with a girl.The only way he can talks with her is when the cleaning lady brings the trash to him with notes that his girlfriend writes for him.I think the movie name is Semper fi 2001 but i am not sure because i don't have the movie.

But are you sure the movie is semper fi 2001?Because i rented the VHS of the movie i know years ago and semper fi is a TV movie.
