looking for the name of this terrifying ghost movie

nope.."frighteners" was not the movie..there were none of these glowing ghosts with a human appearance..but the monster in the first screenshot (450full.jpg) of "frighteners" is very close to what the demons/ghosts in this movie looked like..this is a difficult movie..not sure that anyone will remember it..too damn frightening..had me under the table..

The ghosts and the "demons" are two completely different type beings in The Frighteners. There are scenes in the movie where the "demons" chase people through a large, two-storied house and also chase after them trying to get away from them in a car on a road. However, you never really get a look at any of the demon's faces if I recall properly. It is a comedy but it's meant to frighten the daylights out of you.

...are there "demons?" We have the big Grim Reaper looking guy, but that just turns out to be another ghost, really, albeit a special one. I recall something about another ghost replacing it, or something of the sort. I think he's the only one that doesn't look like all the other ghosts, as well.

if i had to describe these creatures it would have to be demonic, but they were not material walking monsters, or glowing transparent ghosts, more like very quick, hovering, shreeking demons, with hideously detailed contorting faces. none of these creatures glowed or emitted light in any way. but they would suddenly appear and terrorise these people..a truly frightening horror movie..the reaper creature in "frighteners" is the nearest resemblence, to the many cloned demons in this movie, but "frighteners" is not the movie.

(shrieking?) demons are always visible for human ?
did you watch this movie completely or only some minutes ?
are they attack when they sleep ?

i tuned into this movie half way through, on TV, but was too afraid to watch it after 15mins, thats how scary it was..i have been looking for the name of this movie for the last 5yrs..no one seems to know anything about it..the demons mostly attacked when awake..

Dude I'm a 100% those screens are from The Frighteners. That's Michael J. Fox alright and see how many ghost movies he's been in, shouldn't be that hard. Saw it last month though.

i like ghostbusters, but am not looking for a comedy horror movie. this movie is just pure horror..anyone have some closeups of the demons in "constantine" or "drag me to hell"?, but especially "evil dead". also anyone have some advise on the best place on the web to view movie trailers and obtain simular movie suggestions..
