Dinosaur movie help.

Hey, Ive been looking for this movie for about 4 hours now..
I remember watching it when I was 4 or 5 and all I remember is a group of people trying to capture a dinosaur..it may have been in cartoon or clay.. And I remember there being a base for the good guys where they all took off in some machine to go save the dinosaur.. It finished with something about a dinosaur falling into a pit in a desert or something.. Please help me here, Im dying.. and its not 'The last Dinosaur'.. Thanks.

Unfortunately it isent...This movie is far older than that.. Im starting to wonder if it was a TV show.. I remember people walking through a swamp aswell..I watched this in 93 or 94.. Thanks for the try though.
