I've noticed that the rivalry between these animation companies has really been hotting up recently.. I don't know whether it's all one big coincidence but recently there have been an outburst of similar themed films...
Open Season (Sony Pictures)
Over the Hedge (Dreamworks)
Sharktale (Dreamworks)
Finding Nemo (Pixar)
The Reef (AKA Shark Bait) (Not sure who released this.)
Anyway, maybe I'm just picking up on nothing... but it all seems to be going in circles to me. It's time someone released a good'un.. something they actually spent time on with a good script, good cast and entertaining plot line.
Something like Finding Nemo, Shrek.. but new and original - as they once were before being constantly ripped off.
