In light of Fight Club being released on Blu Ray, Fox Home Ent released this site to promote the release.

What do you guys think of their promotion? I haven't seen anything else promoting the Blu Ray. Is this going against the whole idea behind Fight Club? or is Fight Club just a movie and should be promoted like all other movies?

It's just another shameless website promotion for a Blu-ray release, like they do for DVDs and other movie releases. Nothing special. So really I don't think much of this at all.

Is it possible to make any promotion not shameless? It feels like these days pretty much any advertisement is looked down on, but how else would we find out about new products/brands etc?

Well, not that anyone gives a damn, but Fight Club comes out on Blu-Ray today and it looks like a pretty stacked edition. Lots of sweet Special Features and even this secret trick when you pop it in for the first time.
