So here's the list of movies that will no longer be streamable on Netflix after October. I don't know about you guys, but this accelerated my plans of watching the Dollars trilogy and showin my girlfriend Apocalypse Now. While I'll be sad to see other greats go, those I at least have varying degrees of access to otherwise.

You can't make a rainbow without a little rain.
The only movies listed there that are must-see movies for me are these, but I have them all on DVD already, so I'm okay with them leaving Netflix.

101 Dalmatians (1996)
The Big Chill (1983)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)
Cloak & Dagger (1984)
Footloose (1984)
He Said, She Said (1991)
Serenity (2005)
Starman (1984)

Chappie doesn't like the real world
I might try to see The Buddy Holly Story again before it goes.

I recently saw St.Elmo's Fire again and it was not what I remembered. It was terrible. It showcased every bad thing that came out of 80s movies.

I own 101 Dalmatians and Steel Magnolias. Nothing else there I need to see right now.

Might try to catch Apocalypse Now again. One of my ten favorite movies of all time probably. I could watch The Good/Bad/Ugly on repeat until the end of time, so I'll probably check that out. It's definitely a comfort watch for me.

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.
Gotta watch Cheech & Chong's next movie for some primal laughs. Is there a regular source you know of for new additions?

Damn, they're getting rid of some really good movies. I hope the replacements are worthwhile, any word on what those might be?
I haven't heard anything about them yet, but they're probably listed somewhere online.

And yeah, I feel like more good movies are leaving than usual.

Bright light. Bright light. Uh oh.
I watched Hammett last night, and this week I'll watch One from the Heart, Tetro and Starman.

These movies that keep on being taking down off of Netflix never seem to bother me, because the movies that I really care about on the lists I have on DVD. The only films that are worth staying on Netflix, to me, are films I never saw before or those that I don't own.

Oh I could care less about the ones I have on DVD. But there is too much coming off it still. They will lose a lot of business if it continues this way.
