I'm currently spending a little time on a top Nigerian movies chart, although the first movie I checked out really sucked: Last Flight to Abuja.
Countries with smalltime movie scenes that you still want to explore
African cinema is pretty lackluster for the most part. Better to stick to Japan, Europe, and the US.

I would like to see more from Nigeria. I've only seen one, October 1 (2014), but it was really good.

Also, I want to watch more films from Georgia (the country, not the US state). I have only seen one from Georgia, Keep Smiling (2012), which was good and I would recommend it.
