I say 50 is a decent age - not to die, but for this theme. It's a good stopping point. It's halfway to 100, and human beings can live to be 100. It's rare, but it does happen. So, 50 is young compared to 100.

Urgh. I don't see what the big deal is. If we start improving our medical science, we're gonna be living longer. Maybe dying at 100 will one day be very common. Maybe we'll live to be 150 or 200. In The Bible, people live for hundreds of years!

Look at Michael Jackson -- he died at 50 too and everyone went insane. But if Michael Jackson had died at 80, they would have been like, "eh."

Plus, I can't help but find it personally offensive that 40 is the cutoff age for dying "young". I have two relatives that died at 44 and it was SHOCKING for us all. We all felt that they had died before their time.

No one is saying they didn't. It's just the age that was picked. Either pick one, or lay out. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!

This theme is not for dead actors.. But about young stars who never went too far with their careers due to untimely death..

MJ had far more options than River Phoenix in life..
