which films do you think have been a bargain at the price they were made at?

perfect example of this is the balir witch which made LOADS of money

but which do you think were the best movies made for their money?

one which i thought cost more but didnt and is totaly amazing is hard boiled which cost only $4.5 million

and crouching tiger hidden dragon which cost only $15 million!

A novel adaptation.
Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Clerks all made a reasonable amount of fatcashmoney .

I know that Pulp Fiction only cost 8 million, and grossed something over 100 million.
Clerks cost somethin like $32,000, it made at least 20? times that.
And Resrvoir Dogs was quite a deal too.

Well, they are only BARGAINS for the people who make a percentage of the earnings. We still have to pay the normal $ at the theater. I haven't seen very many real low budget films, but here is my list, in no particular order.

The Blair Witch Project - 35k
The Terminator - 6.4m
Monty Python and the Holy Grail - 250k
Platoon - 6m
Clerks - 27k
Ferris Bueller's Day Off - 6.3m
The Contender - 9m
American Beauty - 15m
Naked Gun - 9.3m
Rocky - 1.1m
The Usual Suspects - 6m
Boyz N the Hood - 6m

maybe there would be better films if all the directors were stuck with a small budget? lol

The Future Ed Wood
just found a great bargain! El Mariachi 1992 - cost $7000!

and memento (2000) cost only $5 million!

I'm not old, you're just 12.

Truer words were never spoken... But movies would be better if directors were given the time to make movies instead of being given a deadline and then releasing whatever's finished, good or not. (I'm looking right at you, Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes...)
