Favorite Movies
The DoTD remake was not too shabby. It had none of the merits of it's parent, but it did have an entirely different set of qualities to stand on. I loved it. Remakes rarely try to do the same exact thing as their originals and I the mindset that they are hurts them. DoTD was an action horror movie, not a social commentary.
That being said...a Fog remake will actually probably be half decent. It needs to be methodically based like the original, but other than that they can slightly alter it and I think it'll still do the same effect. Scared the nuts off of me.
