The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

I am hoping that the extended DVD will give more insight to the story. I know for a fact that the scene with Wormtounge and Sauromon was cut from the beginning, which gives details about the palintir, although if the scenes at the end, with Sauromon and Wormtail are not there, it won't say as to how they are defeated, so people will have to read the book.

This movie was wonderous to behold! What an amazing, climatic ending to the best trilogy since the original Star Wars. I don't care what anyone says, this movie was the bomb. I bought the Dvd recently. Great special effects, music and above all, superb acting.
This movie deserves all 11 academy awards it got and that's what i think.

(and i'm going to see The Village in a couple of days)

Anyone picking up the EE? They just confirmed a release date for Dec. 14th.
