Probably saw this on video in the late 1980's...
Coffee Purgatory? A short story about an impatient delivery van driver who asks an old man for directions through the town of "Harmony".
The old man agrees to give him directions on the condition that the driver will take his time and first stop at the local coffee shop and "have that cup of coffee".
The driver agrees and gets the directions, but doesn't actually stop (until he ends up driving in circles for hours).
When he finally goes into the coffee shop, the old man is in there serving coffee to a bunch of zombies who apparently also did not follow is advice... and the driver's fate is sealed.
There may have been another short story about an obnoxious fisherman who is pulled into a lake after he bites into an apple that has a hook in it...
