Guy Ritchie's Revolver

I'm sure this movie will be enjoyable, because I'm sure it will be a lot like Lock Stock, and Snatch, with were very enjoyable. No, he's not going to go down as the greatest director ever by making his brand of derivative formulaic films. However, there are a lot of one genre ponies out there(a lot of them should wish their films were as good).

I'm wondering if his move to fiming in the USA will have the same effect on him that it has had on Woo. God, lets hope not.

If he keeps making good movies, even if they do seem to be the same as his first 2, he'll carve out a healthy niche, a la Tony Scott. Then again he could become the Michael Bay/John Woo of the pseudo gangster, twist genre. I guess we'll see.

Ritchie is amazing. I've seen both Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Hilarious and briliant, with Snatch taking the trophy in a face off. (Mainly due to Pitt's character). I'm just hoping that Statham can pick this one up onto his shoulders and ruff off with it. I'm expecting something brilliant and witty, like his previous films...I just hope he can deliver.
