My fav is probably Saving Private Ryan. The story/ending were just too good. Jarheads was pretty good too but not comparable to SPR.

I admit the industry is running low on ideas but a remake of Robocop with the filming technologies we have now wouldn't be THAT bad in my opinion.

Source Code was a very underrated movie. I've noticed it in a few top-10's which surprises and delights me in the same instance. Maybe I'm just fond of Jake Gyllenhaal :/

They made the 3D version because of their newly released (2011) MMORP game, Star Wars: The Old Republic. (SWTOR)
I'm sure the timing didn't exactly hurt their gaming sales/subscriptions. :P
