I agree with the old version of the chain saw massacre, but it's more grotesque and delightful, than scary.

Anything with Goblin (a band) freaks me out. Especially Profondo Rosso.

Danny Boyle's one of my favorite directors. Loved what he did with Ewan McGregor in the mid 90s.
My favorite is by far Trainspotting, followed by Shallow Grave.

Well, probably movies like dead poet's society, pass it forward, simon birch etc. But the movie I cried the most was I am Sam. For no reason really, just a random emotional moment...
