Wonder Woman

Re: Wonder Woman

I feel a lot of people's complaints about Wonder Woman is that it becomes a standard comic book movie in the third act and climax they say. One thing I feel could have been better if the character...

Re: Why do you pirate movies/TV shows?

Well I feel that by choosing not to distribute the film, the filmmakers are not making any money anyway. So if someone finds a copy of their movie to watch illegally, nobody is watching the movie,...

Re: Why do you pirate movies/TV shows?

I only do it when the movies are unavailable to find anywhere, else, especially really old movies and foreign films. It's almost as if the distributor is saying, our movies are not available, find...

Ebert vs. Gallo

Re: Ebert vs. Gallo

I haven't seen Buffalo 66, but I'm surprised Ebert gave a thumbs up to the edited down version of The Brown Bunny, as I felt that movie was very amateurishly shot and directed and it felt like a...

Re: Wonder Woman

I've always thought the sins were not near as bad as they made them out to be and they are over-exaggerating for humor. The only movie they reviewed where the sins could pretty much all be taken...

Re: Ebert vs. Gallo

Well I think Vincent Gallo has insecurities about taking criticism. I am an aspiring filmmaker myself trying to break into the business, and people have criticized my work to crap. But I wouldn't...

Re: Wonder Woman

Cinemasins is meant to for entertainment and laughs, but is not meant to be taken seriously as a real critique, I don't think, is it? I agree with the video, that cinemasins is inconsistent, but I...

Re: What Countries Makes The Funniest Movies?

UK, US, and maybe Denmark for the Klovn movies. It seems that most foreign countries don't make that many comedies compared to the US and UK, unless for some reason, we keep getting the foreign...

Re: Joker origin Movie

What are all these notions going around that the Joker movie may inspire violence? There have been plenty of movies before about psychotic vigilante, that are far more grittier, so why this one, and...

Re: Joker origin Movie

Oh really, Blow Out is one of my favorite movies of all time actually :). Coincidentally, that movie is also in Joker. When Bruce Wayne and his parents leave the theater, Blow Out is playing in on...

Yeah I don't think he's as bad of an actor as a lot make him out to be and he seems to be doing really good acting in the trailer for The Lighthouse. I just don't see him as Bruce Wayne though.

I was looking forward to this, especially since The Riddler and Catwoman are two of the best villains in my opinion, and we get them in the same movie! But then when I heard Pattinson was Batman,...

Horror movie from Argentina?

I saw the opening set up of it, but want to see the rest. But I cannot recall the title now. It has a very Texas Chainsaw Massacre-ish vibe. I googled Argentina horror movies, and the one that...

Re: Joker origin Movie

I think the problems with trailers today, is that they are simply too long. Most clock in at 2 and a half minutes around for over the last decade it seems, in the 90s and before, they were at 1 and...

I think the main problem with Batman Forever is that it concentrated a little too much on the villains, when it should have the two heroes more, and the camp was just taken up a bit too high of a...

Well I finally got my hands on a copy of Come and See, that has English subtitles for once. It's good, but not one of the best of the best I would say.

What do you think of A Very Long Engagement(2004)?

It was good overall, but I feel it could have been better. The ending kind of left me cold and felt it was anticlimatic.

ENDSPOILER

At the end, the main character finally finds her husband...

Re: Your honest opinion of Batman Forever

Oh okay, but I felt you could still have style and grittiness at the same time. Blade Runner for example, has a neon look, but still dark and gritty non the less.
