My much bigger criticism of MST3k (and their later offshoots---especially The Mads) is that they edit the movies that they show, often considerably cutting down on the runtime.

At very least, MST3k did add something to the experience of watching the films...

Confessions of a Mask is definitely one of Mishima's most essential books---not to mention one of his best. It's amazing, really, how much of his life course is traced out in that book.
