The Last Film I bought, keeping in with my current Wishlist was Aliens, 2 disc special edition, directors cut - excellent almost twenty minutes longer than the original.

IMO there have been many excellent war movies, for realism Saving Private Ryan, it portrays WW2 and especially the D-Day landings as they would of been, a gloomy and bloody day.

I can't actually remember a moment in, Predator 1,2 or AvP where we actually see through Predators eyes without its helmet on so I can't really comment, but I should imagine its vision would be heat...

I think Young Frankenstein was excellent especially where the "Monster" meets the blind man...sheer genius. Mel Brooks the godfather of spoofs.
