Re: Dragon Ball Movie - 2008

Where is the originality? I don't want to see any more movies based on cartoons, TV shows, video games, or previous movies.

Re: The Dark Knight (2008)

Saying one thing wrong about who said what does not make me a complete idiot about evaluating a film based on my own principles. I'm sorry I got you all hot and bothered about my one piece of false...

Re: The Dark Knight (2008)

First off, I don't have a cell phone. Second, I don't care who said it in the movie, it doesn't make a difference. I still think it wasn't a great movie. I have a right to my own opinion. Thirdly,...

Re: The Dark Knight (2008)

Re: The Dark Knight (2008)

Batman has a lower voice than Bruce Wayne, so when Batman talks it sounds so funny. Plus when the dialog explains what you are supposed to get out of the film, it makes me believe that the...

Re: Scariest Scene in a movie

One of my favorites would have to be from the movie Fargo, when we see Peter Stormare's character forcing the rest of Steve Buscemi's character's body through the wood chipper.

Re: John's Reviews

I agree with you 100%. I think the reason why it wasn't hot at the box office is because the critics were not smart enough to link the three tales together.

Re: Favorite Director?

I agree with The Prestige, I used to think that an auteur had to have at least helped in the screenwriting process. An Auteur is a really vague term and I've seen it been thrown around a lot. My...

Re: Favorite Director?

I know about the auteur theory, but I'm kind of a critic toward it. I think the director needs to be the writer of the film as well in order to be an actual auteur. If the director doesn't write the...
