Yeah it's effective at getting some genuine scares, but with the extremely high IMDB rating I was expecting something much,much better. It's straight though.

this film was okay. 6.9/10. It looked good and the acting was fine but it really did use every cliche in the book and didn't bring anything that new to the table. Good movie but not as good as people...
