I voted for neither Persona nor Seven Samurai, though I could have and felt just the same about my list. Here is what I did vote for:

1. Ikiru (1952)
2. Stalker (1979)
3. Night and Fog (1956)...

By the way, Ikiru might be my #1 movie of all-time and Tarkovsky might be my #1 director of all-time, so this set will be hard to beat as the best one-two punch we get.

Ikiru is my #1, so while happy to see it pretty high, it would have been nice if it could have cracked the top 15. Rublev is amazing, but I didn't vote for it.

The Vanishing is great but I didn't vote for it, which is a happy trend throughout the countdown so far.

Still haven't seen a single Rossellini film.

Big fan of The Exterminating Angel, I probably should have voted for it, but I didn't.

Still haven't seen Marienbad, should probably change that.

I've seen everything except for Nights of Cabiria so far and I've at least liked them all with my favorite of the bunch being Porco Rosso. Didn't vote for any of them.

The Dream of a Ridiculous Man is from me. I put it at that spot for the specific reason of getting it some representation. I nominated in the current Russian Hall and it is getting a good reception....
