Loved both and both were on my list. Like narrative film, I love docs that are about the characters. Both of these are two of the best docs for that.

Wow, surprised to see these two. The doc HOF had a huge effect on this list. At least I know a lot of people have watched as few docs as I have. :)

A set I have seen both of. Friedman's was on my list. A well done and disturbing doc.

I love Kiarastomi but Close-Up is my least favorite so far of his films.
