It's a film I want to watch, seeing as it seems to be highly rated by many on here. So far I have only seen Night and Fog from Resnais, for the short film tournament we had.

I watched this the other week, Voices of Light version too. It was good, and it's definitely an 'essential' film in many ways, but I didn't 'feel it' as much as you and some others, unfortunately.

Once Upon a Time in America is a terrific film and worthy of a place so high. Beautiful (in ways) film.

Inland Empire is awesome, haven't seen Sans Soleil but I love La Jetee so I will watch it one day. I'll check out your post now, although I remember seeing it at the time.
