It didn't feel much like Gothic horror for me and that was rather strange. Sleepy Hollow had a superior gothic horror tone for me and wanted more of this feeling in The Raven.

I can't remember if you have or not, but Them/Ils is worth the watch if you want a similar but better film than The Strangers. :D

One of the most hyped up films of last year, really nothing special, in my eyes. Apart from the creepy end sequences, a disappointing film.

Indeed! and it was hyped up a bit too about the parkour. I could jump across library shelves... Zzzz. A fantastic use of it is in the thriller/horror Crimson Rivers 2 with the 'monks'.

Yep, F was disappointing and the 'parkour' was too, one thing I was looking forwards to seeing, a slasher film with 'parkour' in. Don't go near another British slasher film called Demons Never Die......

I can remember thinking it is one of Jason Statham's better films that he has been in, plus Saffron Burrows is fab.

Only played the first ever game that came out, but adored the film - I think we are in a minority though. :p If you liked his work, I recommend Brotherhood of the Wolf if you haven't seen it.
