Of course 2001 was way ahead, it's the best sci-fi film ever, and the best film ever. That's right. I had it at #1, and Blade Runner at #5.

I had Alien at #19. I'm surprised The Thing made it to the top 3 - very impressive.

I squeaked T2 in at #25 mostly for nostalgia, seeing this as a 12 year old kid, being absolutely amazed. It is a CGI groundbreaking film, and the action is great.

I had The Terminator at #16. Like with Alien/Aliens I used to rank the sequel higher, but time changes everything - or some things at least.

I didn't have either on my list. Back in the day I would have ranked Aliens higher than Alien, but time and rewatches has altered that opinion.
