Charlie Chaplin
Hey Movie Fans!
I want to get into some old Chaplin Movies, any suggestions where to start? I'm probably gonna start with the Great Dictator, since I've hear a lot of good things about it. What others do you recommend? Modern Times? The Gold Rush? Give me your opinions and motivate your choices so they get me all excited ;) Cheers |
Re: Charlie Chaplin
All of those are great :yup: I also like the Robert Downey Jr Movie about him :yup:

The Great Dictator is fantastic! I recommend that as well as The Kid, The Immigrant, The Gold Rush, City Lights, and Modern Times. There is also a fantastic documentery about him called "The life and Art of Charlie Chaplin. It's all Youtube broken up into 27 parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PW9vWdcbhM

As far as I can tell, Chaplin was the clumsiest actor to grace the screen.
