I might need help naming my kitten. Had the little dude a week and a half and we can't settle on a name.

Humm for some reason the gemstone Tiger's Eye came into my head because of his lovely eyes, and that made me think of Obsidian and that made me think of Moai/Ahu Tongariki. Therefore, name = Ahu.

Don't call him Oscar, my sisters little rat-of-a-dog-Terrier-Jack Russell-cross is called Oscar.
He's got an intelligence lower than my Budgerigar and just barks at everything, all the time, all day... then pi$$es on the carpet.

I should note that anything which has connotations to things I love is a big plus. For example, our other cat is named Malcolm, after Captain Malcolm Reynolds. This has led my wife to lobby hard for "Simon" for the kitten. Which I like okay but don't love.

It's also disconcertingly important that the name be easy to say.

Yeah, Tuco's one of the first choices. Harpo's really growing on me, though. Both easy to say; former conveys his mischief (he's a little crazy) and the latter his general ditziness and appearance.

The thing about Angel Eyes, though, is that the character dresses in black and does have pretty piercing eyes. And the kitten does, too. His eyes are kind of ridiculous looking sometimes.

I actually love Padawan. But Fezzik is pretty freakin' perfect. One of my favorite movies, fun to say, short, suits his personality, and kinda sounds like "fuzzy"--which he most definitely is.

You can't call him Angel Eyes, no matter how much you like the character. Seriously, picture yourself telling people his name, or calling him. "Here, Angel Eyes!" Nope, just doesn't work.

Frankly, I even had trouble with Mal/Malcolm when he was here. Didn't really know which one he responded to better and kept getting it confused with Mort. LOL

It's funny, I was talking to Courtney about the other day how he was super fluffy as a kitten, a lot less so mostly grown, but then sort of grew back into it. He was like a miniature version of himself at first but had this intermediate period where his fur wasn't nearly as long. He might have been five or six by the time it seemed "full," to the point it is now, but hard to say.

Anyway, he's the best.
