Would strongly recommend a delay pedal, your style of playing would suit one and I think delay pedals are the single biggest reason that I kept on playing electric guitar - they provide so much fun and inspiration.

There are so many ot there that range from $50 to $00s . All depends on your budget really.

The Blaxx is a decent starter.
now i'm curious: what is my style of play? cause here i thought i was just making noise all this time ;)

and woah, $450 for the Microcosm! not getting that anytime soon. and yeah, delay is like my favorite effect, but i've been making due with the builtin delay on my THR5A. i would like to have a dedicated pedal i could pair with my other pedals and amps, as the THR5A is not really built for pedals

EDIT: trying to use my capo more. ya know, for the theory @Sedai

Sparse chords based. Delay would give it some interesting ringing chimey additions.

And yes to the capo. Try putting the capo over the first 4 bottom strings only too. Experiment.

Been mucking around with delays and granular stuff and came out with this. Sort of reminds me of the music during the sniper scenes of Full Metal Jacket. Just a bit busier. And not as good. And less professional sounding.

putting some new stuff into practice. and accidentally stumbling upon some Riverside sounding chords 😅

Hey guys, just checking in to see, when was the last time you changed your guitar strings, huh? GO CHANGE YOUR GUITAR STRINGS! and go call your mom or whatever too.

I don't think I've changed mine in like 6-8 months, it's bad. Just been busy.
