I love The Hangover I think it is absolutely hilarious and im looking forward to the sequel that is going to start production in October this year :)

I read about this back in 2009. It's even been reported that it will be in 3-D :sick: which you can read here.

Naturally, I have to look forward to the sequel as I was such a huge fan of The Hangover. But anybody who believes that it will come even close to living up to its expectations of being just as good as the first one will be severely disappointed. This would just be like making a sequel to Wedding Crashers. It just doesn't seem like it will work that well. I hope it doesn't ruin the first movies image either.

This comment is coming from someone who thinks The Hangover is one of the greatest comedies of all time.

Agreed, I will not be entering the theater with expectations of some great sequel, or even the genius of the first - but I will be there on opening weekend for some laughs. I love the cast, too.

I don't know about the greatest comedies of all-time, but I thought it was the Best comedy of 2009 and I give it a , so you might not be that "wrong".

I enjoyed Hangover. So like other waiting for a sequel. Sequel are most often not successful. Let's hope for the best.

Yeah it had its moments but I didn't think it was memorable at all. Don't care if they make a sequel, another random comedy. Meh.

I'm not sure about a sequel to this one... how can you get a sequel just as good and funnier than the original? I heard something about the movie being set in space... I don't really see how that is possible.

This type of good comedy should be made more frequently . I expect more in 2010.

Just finished watching it tonight...again! I even found it funnier this time, don't even know why, but I did. I hope they don't censor the 2nd, for the kiddies to watch and a bigger market! That will just put people off side.

I would watch another in this series unconditionally; actually only 1 condition: that Zach Galifianakis must trip over a chicken in every future movie.

I actually found the scenes between Stu & his bitchy girlfriend to be hilarious, among many others. And the reference to her beating him up and so forth...priceless.

Disclaimer: I do not promote any sought of violence upon their significant other, but it's a comedy, so...nothing...it's a comedy.

That's the risk though, if they can outshine the first one. This better be good.

That's always the risk, though with a good script and retaining the actors (who believe in the project) it should go well.

lol I actually have guy friends who watched the hangover in theatre 4 times! If the 2nd one is in 3D, can you just imagine the drunken 3D beer goggle effect?!!

Mel Gibson will no loner have a cameo in the film.

That sucks. Apparently some cast and crew had objections to it. I think there was a bit in the new with Galifianakis mentioning something about being upset with having to work with some people, whom he did not name.


Weird to me, I would have loved to see Gibson in the film. Let's not forget that Tyson is no angel, the man has been convicted of rape for crying out loud.

I am so sick and tired of Mel Gibson hate. Kudos to Jodie Foster for putting in a good word for him -- I read something where she was happy for his involvement with The Hangover 2.

Oh, well. I NEVER understood all the Hangover love anyway. It wasn't that funny. Frankly, I'm disappointed in people for giving it mad props. It's terribly overrated.

I don't know. I never paid attention to the hype, but I thought The Hangover was solid entertainment. Maybe that's why I'm TOO OLD to care about alleged hype anymore.

I'm not looking forward for this movie. 3-D? I mean come on, amiright? The first one was not that great. A stoner movie at best. Not that funny, and totally over hyped. The only person I liked was zach galifianakis, mostly his acting in Tim & Eric.

I'll definitely watch a sequel. I'm just not entirely sure about this. I'm just wondering where they'll go with this. These types of movies don't really lend well to sequels. But I do like Phillips, so I'll be eager to see what he has up his sleeve.

I loved the first film but Galifianakis' refusal to work with Mel Gibson has me seriously wondering whether his dopey, "snooty bitch" comedy routine is really an act at all. His recent activism for the legalization of marijuana in relation to the "Due Date" release also seems rather less-than-genuine when one eventually sees the film and he clearly doesn't inhale. Maybe these are minor gripes but I'm having a hard time digging on someone who puts up no objections to working with a convicted rapist but feels like he has to blacklist a struggling man with anger issues and a drinking problem.

It was funny, I had some laughs. My problem is that it is beat for beat EXACTLY like the first one. The addition of Senior Chang (Commuity represent!!) doesn't help. He shouldn't be there.

I'm going to try and avoid any more trailers and tv spots because it's the surprises of the situation that made the first one, this one might be over exposed.

I refuse to watch the trailer for this. I actually came into the cinema for the first movie blind, having known pretty much nothing about it whatsoever. Made the experience that much better. So with so much hype going into the sequel, I believe it's the way to go!
